He brought me out into a spacious place; He rescued me… Psalm 18:19
Relationships are what define my life: relationships with my Lord, husband, three children, family and friends.
I am a soul sculptor for the King of the Universe. (This sounds better to me than stay-at-home mom.
Thanks to Ann Voskamp’s blog “A Holy Experience” for this description.)
For the past 18 years, I have been on a journey with daily physical pain. The scriptures that I share on “A Spacious Place” are verses that have encouraged, challenged and inspired me, while I have been on the path of pain.

Love you lots,

In reading Oswald Chambers this morning he quoted this passage:
“When they were alone, He explained all things to His disciples.” Mark 4:34
I wrote several Haikus this morning in response to this word.
When I am alone with you
I experience your peace
You know my story so well
Your story saves me
I long to share your story
Your presence gives life to me
A mystery to be told
Never understood
Good words bring healing and life. Blessings on this blog and you my dear Sara.
Love, dad
A poem based on Psalm 66:12
I live in a spacious place
Where I find rest everyday
I come believing in love
He keeps His promise

Sara,
Thanks for visiting my blog and writing about the Compassion trip. I was blown away by their stories and photos. I have taken the liberty and looked around your blog… I have enjoyed it and will be back again often as well as adding it to my reader. Be blessed !

I am a student in two of your Father’s classes at Woodmont Hills Church. I found myself praying for you, and asking the holy spirit what I could share with you how I am able to endure pain…Should I send her remidies from web sites I had searched? has she tried meditation? how about yoga? these are the thoughts of my mortal mind.
As I began my day I read my emails for the day, for the first time I read post to you web site, this is the answer given me by the holy spirit, “That life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh” 2 Corinthians 4:10
I too read from Oswald Chambers. From my journal he is quoted today stating, “Our circumstances are the means of manifesting how wonderfully perfect and extraordinarily pure the Son of God is.” I am reminded even as I suffer from lack of work, and pain within my body to gloryfy God. This is not easy to do, yet I have found that there is a “peace that comes over me that passes all understanding”, where I find rest, and so have you.
Interesting…
Thank you for visiting my site. I’ve added you to my blogroll … blessings to you -
Hi, Love the blog and look forward to taking part in your journey through it. Again love the name soul sculptor – we all have a tremendous influence in others that often we don’t take the responsibility for – what a great phrase to remind us.
